2024/2025 NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) REGULAR AND PART-TIME SUPPLEMENTARY ADMISSION

All prospective candidates who sat for the 2024 UTME exams and scored a minimum of 120 but are yet to gain admission for the 2024/2025 academic year are enjoined to know that limited vacancies exist at the Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri for National Diploma (ND) REGULAR and PART-TIME programmes.

Interested applicants for the respective programmes are advised to rush now and apply.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

  1. Visit Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri website https:/fpno.edu.ng
  2. Click on apply for admission
  3. Select your programme type
  4. Generate invoice for application form
  5. Pay Invoice at the Bank or online with your ATM/Debit Card
  6. Proceed to any bank of your choice and make a payment of N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only using Remita Number (RRR). You can also choose to make your payment using your VERVE, VISA or MASTER CARD.  If you choose the card payment option, you will be asked to fill the card details for the payment to be processed immediately.
  7. Proceed to fill the Application form
  8. On completing the application form, print your acknowledgment slip.
  9. Click to pay for O’level verification.
  10. Print O’level Verification Certificate (To verify if the O’level verification is successful or not and to verify if there is any need for correction and re-verification).

All application procedures MUST be concluded on or before 12 midnight of 7th March, 2025.

Applicants can start and complete this process from any location in the country.  It is therefore advisable to minimize trips to Owerri for the purpose of completing the form.

PLEASE NOTE AS FOLLOWS:

  • Candidates who did not initially choose any of the courses advertised above should utilize this opportunity to change courses and upload their O’level result(s) on JAMB portal in any JAMB accredited CBT centre.
  • Candidates should ensure that their UTME subject combination qualifies them to study the course of their choice.
  • Candidates who chose our institution as 2nd or 3rd choice must change to Federal Polytechnic Nekede as their first choice and upload their O’level results(s) on JAMB portal before they will be considered for admission and also note that any wrong information given disqualifies the candidate.

NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) PART-TIME

The entry requirements for National Diploma (ND) Part-Time Programmes are as follows:

  1. Five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics obtained at not more than two sittings in WAEC/NECO or NABTEB (O’level Examinations).
  2. Candidates are required to obtain JAMB Part-Time Registration Number from JAMB Office or JAMB Accredited (CBT) Centers.

For details on entry requirements peculiar to each of the courses above, candidates should visit the Polytechnic website www.fpno.edu.ng.

Please NOTE that candidates with Nov/Dec O’level result of year of admission for ND part-time programmes are not qualified to apply.

It is also important to NOTE that any false data entry during the on-line registration will lead to disqualification of the candidate at anytime such is discovered.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

  1.  All candidates MUST first go to the school’s website fpno.edu.ng and click on “Application form” link on the home page under student’s menu, choose ND to proceed.
  2. Fill your Biodata in the form and generate an invoice, print or copy out the invoice number, (you can do this on your mobile phone).
  3. Proceed to Federal Polytechnic Nekede Microfinance Bank or any bank of your choice and make a payment of N12,000 (Twelve Thousand Naira) only on Remita platform using RRR number on the invoice you generated.

You can also choose to make your payment using your VERVE, VISA or MASTER CARD if you choose the card payment option, you will be asked to fill the card details for the payment to be processed immediately.

  • Return to the school’s website fpno.edu.ng. click on “application form”, and complete your application process. Submit your data as requested and print out your acknowledgment slip.  If you process your payment using your card, you will return to the portal immediately to print your receipt and acknowledgment slip.
