The attention of the Rector and Management of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri has been drawn to malicious and deceitful information being circulated on the social media and captioned “Re- submission of Federal Poly Nekede Employment Application Credentials”.

The circular signed by one David Anyanwu, DG SEDA requests applicants to re- submit soft copies of all their application materials online to a WhatsApp phone number (08036369595).

Consequently, the Management of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri wishes to inform the general public that the purported circular is fraudulent, misleading, mischievous, and spurious, did not emanate from the authorities of the Institution and should be ignored in its entirety. Furthermore, the persons mentioned in the purported circular are not staff members of the Institution and not in any position to speak for the Institution especially on such matters.

Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri follows due process and has approved website where authentic information about the Institution can be assessed/obtained by the public which is www.fpno.edu.ng.

Following the above, the esteemed general public is advised to be vigilant and cautious of fraudsters who masquerade themselves as agents of the Institution.
