This is to inform the Polytechnic Community in general and the students in particular, that in line with the approved Academic Calendar for 2023/2024 Academic Session, students Union Week will commence from Tuesday 20th to Friday 30th August 2024.

During this period, Student Union Government election will be held.
Students are therefore urged to imbibe the culture of decorum before, during and after the election. At the same time, contestants are advised to comport themselves in an orderly and peaceful manner and should not see the election as a do-or-die affair.
To ensure active participation in the processes and procedures for the above election and other student activities, Tuesday 20th to Friday 30th August, 2024 have been declared lecture free days.

By this memo, Deans of Schools, Directors and Heads of Departments are requested to ensure strict compliance of this directive to enable the students exercise their civic responsibility.
