This is to inform the Members of the Polytechnic Community of the appointment of Dr. (Mrs.) Basilia Igbokwe as the 9th Substantive Rector of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri by the Federal Government. Sequel to the above, all members of the Polytechnic Community are by this memo invited to the Reception and Inauguration ceremony of the Rector as scheduled below:

Furthermore, members of the Polytechnic Community are expected to be seated before the arrival of the Members of the 15th  Governing Council, Management and other Dignitaries from outside the Polytechnic. Heads of Divisions, Deans of Schools, Directors and Heads of Departments (Teaching and Non-teaching) are please urged to bring the content of this memo to the attention of their staff.
