About Us
The Center for Gender Studies in the Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri crystallized after management aligned with national policy in gender mainstreaming in all institutions.
The CGS is committed to ensuring gender balance in the campus environment from enrolment to employment. The CGS is the presenter of incisive workshops and publisher of the ENGENDER multi-disciplinary journal and proposes to admit studies in the near future for certificate courses.
