Profile of the Deputy Rector (Academics)

Dr. Onyemenonu began his career at Federal Polytechnic, Nekede in 2004 as a Lecturer I and rose to the rank of Chief Lecturer in 2015. He has served in various leadership roles, including Head of the Department of Chemistry/Biochemistry (2010–2012), Dean of the School of Industrial and Applied Sciences (2012–2015), Director of the Industrial Placement Centre (2016–2017), Director of the Technological Entrepreneurship Development Centre (2017–2021), and Director of Academic Matters (2021).

On September 3, 2021, he was appointed Deputy Rector (Academics). He has also been a member of both the 13th and 14th Governing Councils of the institution.
