The Business Administration and Management department strives to produce efficient managers that will contribute quality management to organizational development and growth. By ensuring that their skills are galvanized in utilizing various resources available within and outside the organizations.
Candidates are expected to obtain the senior secondary certificate of education, NABTEB, Genedral Certificate of Education.
In addition, candidate must obtain credit in five subjects at not more than two sitings which must include English Language, Mathematics, economics and one science subject. Also applicants must obtain a satisfactory pass level at the Unified Matriculation examination and the post matriculation examination.
Candidates applying for Higher National diploma (HND) in Business Administration and Management are to meet:
(a) All the requirements for admission into the ND programmes inj Business Administration and Management.
(b) A minimum of lower credit pass (CGPA) of 2.50 in ND Business Studies or related programme, and
(c) A minimum of one year post – ND cognate work experience.
In exceptional cases ND diplomats with pass grade (CGPA of 2.00 – 2.49) in cognate ND examination with two or more years of work experience/Industrial programme. Course duration for all modes of entry is two years for ND and 2 years for HND. All students of the department are expected to belong to National Association of Business Administration and Management Students (NABAMS).
